24/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - At Autoworld in Brussels on 10 May, the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA) or organising a Technology Day on future automotive technologies - road safety, the environment and beyond to raise awareness in the general public of R&D by car manufacturers to develop safer, less polluting and more energy efficient vehicles. EU Industry Commissioner Gunter Verheugen and Director General of DG Research at the European Commission, Silva Rodriguez, will speak about EU programmes to boost European competitiveness.
