Italian tax advice centres (CAF) lose exclusive right of advice to tax-payers as per Italian law

Luxembourg, 31/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - In the case "ADC Servizi c/ Galafiori", the Court of Justice ruled on 30 August that the Italian legislation giving exclusive rights to tax advice centres (CAF) to provide advice and assistance to Italian tax-payers runs counter to European law. This legislation contravenes the principles of the freedom to provide services and the freedom of establishment, it explains in a press release.
