Commission receives France's response on GDF/Suez case and allows no further time to Spain

Brussels, 17/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 17 March Charlie McCreevy's spokesman confirmed that France had responded “last week” to the letter from the European Internal Market Commissioner on the Gaz de France/Suez/Enel affair (see EUROPE 9144). Commission staff are currently examining this response.
