17/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to acquisition of sole control of Philips Business Communications (PBC) of the Netherlands by NEC Corporation (NEC) of Japan. PBC distributes and sells telecommunication solutions. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
