Brussels, 02/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 1st February, the Management Committee for Bananas agreed to an import duty free banana quota from ACP countries to run from 1st March to 31 December 2006. The quota of 615,000 tonnes is to be added to another of 160,000 tonnes opened in December 2005 for EU sales of ACP bananas during the first two months of 2006.
