Parliament gives green light on deregulation of packaging for wide range of products

Brussels, 02/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - By making its decision on the first reading on Thursday of the draft directive on rules on nominal quantities of pre-packaged products, the European Parliament gave the green light to the deregulation of packaging for a wide range of - but not all - EU consumer goods.
