Parliament calls for rapid adoption of Mediterranean fish stock management measures by Member States

Brussels, 02/02/2006 (Agence Europe) -By adopting, on 2 February, the resolution put forward by the EPP-ED, PES, GUE/NGL and UEN groups, the European Parliament called on the Council to “ensure that management measures applicable to fish stocks in the Mediterranean are adopted without delay”. The Austrian Presidency said that the matter was on the agenda for the Fisheries Council of 25 April.
