Markos Kyprianou meets Turkish health and farm ministers - Commission to give Turkey EUR 8 mil to combat bird flu - Other measures

Brussels, 24/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - Markos Kyprianou, European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection, will visit Turkey from 25-27 January, to reinforce EU solidarity with Turkey in its fight against avian influenza. Kyprianou will meet the Turkish Agriculture Minister, Mehmet Mehdi Eker, and Health Minister Recep Akdag, and others.
