Brussels, 08/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European banking federations have got together to support the European Commission's adoption, on 5 December, of the White Paper on the EU's policy on financial services for the next five years (see EUROPE 9082). Amongst other things, they applaud the Commission's objective of consolidating existing legislation and improving convergence in terms of checks.
