Krubasik, member of the board of Siemens AG since 1997 and honorary professor of the Technical University of Munich, was elected chairman of Orgalime, the Liaison Group of the European Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Metalworking Industries on 21 April. Mr Krubasik will take up his duties when the mandate of current chair Martine Clement ends on 1 September.
