27/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the following operations: the acquisition of sole control of DuPont-Sabanci International LLC (Dusa) by Haci Ömer Sabanci Holding, belonging to the Turkish Sabanci group, and in which the conglomerate is active in many areas (chemicals, banking and insurance, food processing, retail, energy, cement, cars etc. Dusa is a joint venture currently controlled by DuPont and Sabanci and is active in the manufacture, marketing and sale of industrial nylon products; the acquisition of sole control of Netto Supermarkt by Dansk Supermarked, active in the retail of daily consumer goods. NS is active in the retailing of daily consumer goods in Germany and is currently jointly controlled by DS and ITM Enterprises.
