27/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a press release of 22 April, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe welcomes the decision by the Georgian government to close the Dzervera training camp close to Tskhinvali, the capital of the breakaway region of South Ossetia. Terry Davis sees this as “a logical step in the wake of the peace plan for South Ossetia, proposed last January by President Mikheil Saakashvili”.
