The Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly attended by MEPs (including President Borrell who is president for one year), representatives of EU Member State parliaments and the parliaments of partner countries in the Barcelona process, held its first plenary session mid-March in Cairo (see EUROPE Nos 8910 and 8916).
