Still no date for ministerial meeting

Brussels, 22/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - A technical meeting between the EU and Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) in Brussels on 22 and 23 March failed to reach agreement on a date for a ministerial meeting before resuming negotiations in April on a free-trade agreement which has been at deadlock since October 2004 (EUROPE of 22 October). Mercosur proposed a meeting in Asuncion (Paraguay) on 22 and 23 April, but no decision has been made, said the spokesperson of Commissioner...
