Commission receives Greece's stability programme and additional measures to correct excessive deficit in 2006

Brussels, 22/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, Greece sent the Commission its updated stability programme, laying out the detailed measures it intends to take in 2006 to bring its deficit below 3% next year, the spokesperson to the European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs, Joaquin Almunia, confirmed on Monday.
