MEPs displeased with postponement of negotiations debate

Brussels, 16/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - MEPs from different parties were annoyed at the postponement of accession negotiations with Croatia due to the failure to bring the war criminal Ante Gotovina to the Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague (p 4). In a press release Doris Pack (CDU), president of the EP delegation for relations with Southern Europe said that she got the impression that this was not about Gotovina but rather, involved a pretext for keeping Croatia outside the EU....
