End of EMPA session - Josep Borrell takes up chairmanship for a year

Cairo, 16/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The EuroMed Parliamentary Assembly meeting in Cairo on 12 March finished its work on Tuesday and the president of the European Parliament, Josep Borrell will take over its chairmanship for a year. The meeting ended with the adoption of resolutions on all aspects linked to the Barcelona Process (regional context, Middle East, situation in the Lebanon and cooperation in all areas).
