WTO panel recognises validity of European protection of geographical indications

Brussels, 16/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The reports by a WTO panel has ruled in favour of the EU system of protection of geographical indications for agricultural products, despite arguments from the United States and Australia, the countries that complained about the EU system of protection of geographical indications.
