Brussels, 16/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - Meeting on Wednesday at the “General Affairs” Council chaired by Jean Asselborn, the foreign ministers of the EU confirmed the decision which was prepared on Tuesday by Coreper, that the opening of accession negotiations with Croatia- initially pencilled in for this Thursday- is postponed until the Croatian government cooperates fully with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague. “Upon deliberation of the...
