Liotard report on services directive calls for exclusion of principle of country of origin

Brussels, 16/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - Adopted on Tuesday by the parliamentary committee on the environment, public health and food safety (47 votes in favour, 5 against and 2 abstentions), the own-opinion report by Dutch Socialist Kartika Tamara Liotard takes a stance in favour of excluding the principle of country of origin from the services directive in the internal market (the rapporteur on substance is German Social Democrat Evelyne Gebhardt).
