Commission looks at possible measures to help farmers tackle natural disasters and epizooties

Brussels, 10/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - As we previously announced (EUROPE 3 March) the European Commission on Wednesday adopted a communication on three types of measures that could help farmers in the European Union manage risk and to provide an improved response to crises in the agricultural sector. The communication will be presented to EU ministers of agriculture next Monday.
