Brussels, 28/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - A conference, which took place on 25 February in Nice, provided the possibility to discuss the creation of a Tsunami alert system in the Western Mediterranean with the participation of scientists, politicians and local representatives of the "Latin arc" (the countries bordering the northern coasts of the Western Mediterranean).
