President Barroso to meet president of Assembly of regions of Europe

Brussels, 28/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a backdrop to the main conference on the role of the regions in the new partnership for growth and jobs in Brussels on 3 march (EUROPE 24 February p 12), president of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and Riccardo Illy of the Assembly of European Regions, who is also president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region in Italy.
