Brussels, 28/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - The increase in the level and quality of public development aid from the EU is one of the main areas of European Commission construction. Louis Michel, Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid is pursuing this aim in hope of encouraging the EU to provide an ambitious contribution for carrying out the objectives of development in the new millennium.
