Brussels, 16/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has ruled Italian aid to export companies that go to trade fairs abroad, illegal and is therefore asking the Italian government to recover the aid. Following a probe begun last March, the Commission has decided that the measure, contained in the Italian financial law of 2004, is incompatible with Community rules, given that it had also been implemented without any preliminary notification.
