Meeting between Neelie Kroes and Caio Koch-Weser on Landesbanken postponed

Brussels, 16/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - The meeting that should have taken place on Thursday between Neelie Kroes and Caio Koch-Weser was postponed at the request of the Commissioner for competition. The German Secretary of State for finance was expected to come to Brussels, accompanied by the Bavarian and Westphalian- North Rhineland ministers of finance, as well as the Head of the German private banking association Manfred Weber, to appeal to Ms Kroes in the Landesbanken case.
