At Dar-Es-Salam conference, Bernard Bot sends message of EU encouragement and support for stabilisation in region

Brussels, 19/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - At the African Great Lake summit to be held on Friday and Saturday at Dar-Es-Salam (Tanzania), EU Council President Bernard Bot expressed the firm hope that this historic conference would lay the foundations for a prosperous Great Lakes Region without war or fear. He assured Heads of State and Government of the region of the EU's commitment to lend them its assistance for seeking a common and lasting solution.
