19/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised the planned acquisition of Danish information services provider, Maersk Data and DM Data, by IBM. Both firms, which provide internal services to two major clients, AP Moeller-Maersk and Danske Bank, will allow IBM to develop its expertise in information services in the sectors of transport and finance.
