European employers disappointed at Kok report's lack of concrete proposals to dynamise European and failure to mention role of Competitiveness Council

Brussels, 04/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Kok report on the Lisbon Strategy provides excellent analysis, but does not offer enough concrete proposals to re-dynamise Europe. That was the view of the European employers' association (Unice), stated in a press release. Unice is disappointed that the report makes no clear statements about what it feels the governments should do to make Europe more competitive.
