Sanctions for marine pollution on agenda of European Council

Luxembourg, 26/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Council may take up the issue of sanctions for maritime pollution, a dossier blocked within the Council by Greece, Cyprus and Malta, on 5 November. "These are political, not legal, questions", said the Dutch Justice Minister, Piet Hein Donner, who does not think that the stances will change much between now and the European Council.
