Brussels, 29/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's new "Security and Defence" sub-committee has got a lot on its plate. Its president, German Christian Democrat Karl von Wogau (an MEP since 1979), explained its plans to a small group of journalists, stating that among the members of his team were many MEPs from the new Member States, who are visibly very interested by security and defence issues, including former Heads of State and Government (such as the Lithuanian Wytautas...
