Dutch proposals for future of freedom, security and justice policy to be debated Thursday and Friday

Brussels, 29/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - At the informal Council of Scheveningen (Netherlands), the Justice and Home Affairs Ministers of the 25 Member States will start work on preparations for the European programme for the justice and home affairs policy for the coming five to seven years. The second phase of this policy, which began in 1999, will be launched by the European Council of 4 and 5 November.
