Brussels, 29/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The production of oil seed in EU 25 Member States will increase this year to 19.2 million tonnes, according to the most recent estimates from Coceral (Committee of cereals, oilseeds, animal feed, olive oil, oils and fats and agrosupply trade in the EU). This will represent an increase of more than 27 % compared to the harvest of 15.1 million tonnes in 2003 by the EU and the ten new Member States.
