Pascal Lamy to attend conference in Tunisia on 28 September on future of textiles and clothing industry

Brussels, 24/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - Ministers from the EuroMed area responsible for the clothing and textile industries are meeting in Tunis on 28 September to sketch out a common strategy for protecting the industry from ever fiercer global competition. A conference on the post-2005 future of the clothing and textile industries is being organised by the Tunisian trade ministry in collaboration with the Centre for the Promotion of Exports and the European Commission.
