24/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a press release, Labour MEP Richard Corbett slammed Godfrey Bloom, UK Independence Party MEP (part of the Independence and Democracy group at the European Parliament) for spending European taxpayers' money to 'pay for Cambridge University's women's rugby club to visit Brussels'. 'The last vestiges of the supposed 'moral high ground' have fallen away from the UKIP, commented Corbett.
