Brussels, 03/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - At the beginning of October, the European Commission is expected to give the go-ahead to British Energy's plans to decommission a series of nuclear power stations. The restructuring plan was notified in 2002. It foresees aid of up to EUR 5 billion for the full decommissioning of eight nuclear plants in the UK by the year 2086.
