03/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has cleared the acquisition of Dutch oil company Petroplus International BV by RIVR Acquisition BV, a subsidiary of private investment fund Carlyle. The deal, worth EUR 247 million, was examined using simplified procedures.
