03/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The accession ceremony of Monaco as the 46th member state of the Council of Europe will take place in Strasbourg on 5 October. On 2 September, the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers decided to invite Monaco to join the Council of Europe, following the favourable opinion of the Parliamentary Assembly and 'positive information' about revising the 1930 Convention between Monaco and France, explains a press release.
