Aircraft noise down 6 decibels by 2008

Brussels, 22/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a press release published on 22 June, the European Commission states that the technological platform set up in the aeronautical sector aims to reduce aircraft noise whilst looking for ways to make aircraft more competitive. Several research projects are already underway in this sector with Community co-funding, under the 6th FPRD.
