Brussels, 21/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Community has officially joined the Madrid Protocol on the international registration of brands. On Monday it submitted accession instruments to the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva. The treaty will enter into force in October.
