16/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The "Université Libre de Bruxelles" is offering a summer course for the fourth time on law and immigration and asylum policy in Europe. The course, to be held from 1 to 14 July, is for confirmed students and specialists in this field. Organised by the academic network for legal studies on immigration and asylum in Europe, the programme aims to enhance participants' knowledge of the law. There will be general studies, for example on the future of EU citizens' free movement, external border control and other more specialised areas such as the position of the HCR on European asylum policy, family reunification and the status of third country nationals, non-discrimination and integration. Students will be accompanied by teachers from the network, from places ranging from Poitiers, Salzburg, Budapest or Lisbon. (For further information: odysseus@ulb.ac.be).
