Road transport sector criticises Council's political agreement on drivers' driving and rest periods

Brussels, 16/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The International Road Transport Union (IRU) is critical of the agreement reached by the Transport Council on 11 June regarding drivers' resting and driving hours, an agreement that mainly provides for stricter legislation in this connection (EUROPE of 15 June, p.13).
