Brussels, 29/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - In a press conference on Thursday on Europe, Jacques Chirac affirmed that on the subject of a referendum in France on a European Constitution, "there are two procedures in France for ratifying a treaty, the parliamentary procedure and the procedure for a referendum…both have been used in the past for ratification of European treaties…I therefore consider it premature to decide on one or other of the options..Firstly, it is necessary to conclude...
