CoR recommends creation of forum representing regional and local authorities of enlarged EU and their Mediterranean partners

Brussels, 29/04/2004 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of its April plenary session, the Committee of the Regions (CoR) adopted an exploratory opinion on the "Euro-Mediterranean partnership and the regional authorities: the need for coordination and a specific tool for decentralised cooperation" (Rapporteurs: Jacques Blanc, France, EPP-ED, Regional Languedoc Council; Gianfranco Lamberti, Italy, PES, Mayor of Livorno).

With this opinion, the CoR recommends the creation of a forum...
