Acquisition of Triaton by HP (information technology) is cleared

Brussels, 29/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the American information technology equipment supplier, Hewlett-Packard (HP), to acquire the German information technology service provider, Triaton. The operation will have the effect of fleshing out the range of information technology services provided by HP, but this will not give rise to any competition concerns given the limited increment in market shares and the significant number of global viable competitors...
