ETUC considers it vital to strengthen confidence of workers, investors and consumers in order to strengthen Social Europe - Against "super-Commissioner" for competition

Brussels, 22/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - After its executive committee on 17 and 18 March in Brussels, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) adopted a resolution to the benefit of the Tripartite Social Summit and the Spring European Council on 25 and 26 March in Brussels. In the resolution, they call on Heads of State and Government to strengthen worker, investor and consumer confidence by striking a balance between economic policies and social policies.
