Fifteen put off final negotiations on reform of Mediterranean products until April

Brussels, 22/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - Taking account notably of the politic context (regional elections in France and general elections in Spain), the Agriculture Ministers of the Member States of the EU decided in Brussels on Monday to postpone the final negotiations on proposals to reform the Mediterranean products (tobacco, olive oil and cotton) until an extraordinary meeting in Luxembourg on 19 and 20 April.
