Brussels, 19/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - Although at federal level the Christian Unions have chosen the current EPP-ED Group President Hans-Gert Pöttering as head of list opposite Social Democrat Martin Schulz and Daniel Cohn-Bendit of the Greens, they present their candidates on regional lists. If the CDU and the CSU manage to win more seats at the elections in June, many newcomers between thirty and forty years of age will enter the European Parliament.
