European Parliament urges for strengthened control of application of Community law

Brussels, 15/03/2004 (Agence Europe) - Last Wednesday, the European Parliament adopted a report on greater monitoring of implementation of Community law. In the report, it considers that the considerable rise in the number of complaints filed annually by citizens regarding bad application of the law confirms how urgent it is to speed up transition and implementation of directives at national level.
