Cairns group invites United States, EU and Japan to help set date to remove subsidies to agricultural exports

Brussels, 26/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - After its 26th ministerial meeting in San José (Costa Rica) on 24 February, the Cairns group of 17 developed and "emerging" countries, sent out an appeal to the United States, the EU and Japan to persuade them to help set a precise date to remove all subsidies on agricultural exports.
